With a career spanning top-tier legal roles at Oman Investment Authority and Emaar Properties, she excels in high-value transactions, regulatory advisory, and strategic legal counsel.
Mubeyyet is a consultant to the firm. She has been a member of Istanbul Bar Association since 2006 and is admitted to practice as a Solicitor in England and Wales.
Prior to joining the firm, Mübeyyet managed Oman Investment Authority's legal affairs for OlA's international investments in more than 30 countries.
While at OlA, she routinely advised the executive management on legal matters for current and potential investments, in M&A, private equity, funds, co-investments, joint ventures. Industries include banking, aerospace, defense, mining, ports, food security, infrastructure, TMT, financial services, real estate, hospitality. She also managed a number of assets in Oman in the real estate, infrastructure, and technology sectors, overseeing the legal work on tenders and procurement contracts, service agreements, and finance arrangements, and most recently, the establishment of a local Real Estate Investment Fund.
From 2007 to 2015, she was the legal director for Emaar Properties PJSC's regional office based in Istanbul, Turkey. She successfully set up the legal department, negotiating and finalizing land acquisition deals, participating in privatization processes, and delivering the documentation for major project finance arrangements and construction contracts of Emaar Square and Tuscan Valley projects, as well as Emaar Square shopping mall (150,000 sqm GLA) lease agreements for anchor and major tenants.
At the firm, Mübeyyet advises clients on corporate law, tenders, contracts, and financing arrangements, whilst acting as lead counsel for a family office in Turkey. Throughout her legal career, Mubeyyet has supported her in-house and external clients, who often came from engineering and business backgrounds, to make informed business decisions with actionable legal advice.
Mübeyyet completed her training at Hergüner Bilgen Ozeke, where she published various articles on corporate matters. She worked in private practices in Houston and New York and interned at the Texas Supreme Court.
Mübeyyet speaks both Turkish and English and is primarily based out of Doha and Turkey.
